To earn the CISSP® credential, candidates generally require 5 years of cumulative professional experience across at least 2 CISSP® domains. A qualifying degree or approved credential may satisfy up to one year. Candidates who pass before completing the full requirement may be eligible for the Associate of ISC2 pathway while gaining experience.
